About Diane

Diane Kordas has been performing music for children and families since 1992, and puppet shows since 1998. Diane makes  her own puppet characters and scripts for her shows. Her classic and original stories with puppets, music, humor and audience participation are enjoyed by children and families at libraries, parties, daycares and preschools throughout New England.

Diane enjoys performing music for health care facilities, rehabilitation centers, and for those with developmental disabilities.  Her healthcare experience as a registered nurse lends a unique perspective and understanding to any audience.  For performances, she plays acoustic guitar and varies the performance with drum and mandolin.  Her vocals are mellow and soothing, enjoyed by staff as well as patients, sings and plays old jazz and swing, folk, pop standards and favorites as well as newer songs and originals.

Music:   Diane’s CD, “Dinosaur Stomp”, has been chosen Winner of the Children’s Music Web Award 2005 for Best Recording for Younger Children ages 5 to 8, and Best Educational Seasonal or Religious Recording for Younger Children ages 5 to 8.  Diane’s second CD, “Spinning Around the Sun”, has teachable, singable songs which are great for young children tots to age 8, classrooms, and cars!

This multi-talented and professional performer delights and entertains audiences with engaging songs and creative puppetry!

Diane is a member of Puppeteers of America and the Boston Guild of Puppetry.
